The process of an eraser carving

Over the last week or so I’ve been designing and carving my Yuletide card for this year, and whilst I’ve been doing so, I’ve been videoing the process.

I finally finished the carving and the last of the videos today, so here they all are. Hopefully they will give an insight into the carving process.

Now I just have to get a move on and get these all printed up and in the post ;)

Thanks so much for taking precious time to record and share this vital information. Carving rubberstamps is a wonderful old art form and has stood the test of time. I want to keep it alive and your shared knowledge is making a big difference as I practice, practice, practice….I appreciate you.

swell I for one will certainly have a go. I still have the Kit I bought of you…all I need is just to find some Time. But it is on my list of things to learn in 2012
